Warrant Officers' & Sergeants' Mess


Welcome to Imjin Barracks Warrant Officers' and Sergeants' Mess, throughout your stay we hope you are made to feel welcome and treat this mess as if it is your home.  The mess is a Tri-Service environment and have a number of multi-national members accommodated here.

Accommodation 

If you wish to book any mess accommodation, please get in touch with the office at the email address above. The relevant booking proforma will be sent to you for completion.

Arriving

You will be marched into your room on the day you arrive, you will be required to sign the sheet which is kept in the mess office until your final departure. Any damages are to be noted on the form and returned to the Mess Supervisor NLT 48 hrs after arrival.

Furniture 

If you wish to remove accommodation furniture or if you have faults with your furniture you are to report to the Mess manager to get this removed and backloaded to the GARRC Sp Bn QM's Dept to replace or exchange them. 

Internet

Wifi is available if you require internet in your accommodation please contact Media Force, where relevant charges apply.

Keys

If you lose the key to your room, you will be charged for the replacement. These security keys need to be specially cut and cost approx. £13.50 + VAT.

Building Fault Reporting

Please report all building faults to the Vivo help desk on  0800 46 6010 and then write them in the faults book, outside the Mess accountant's office. 

Departing

Please give a minimum of 3 weeks' notice to vacate your room. The Mess Manager will arrange a march out and a final mess bill to be created. The final mess bill must be settled in full before your departure. 

Warning in/out

This book is located at the main entrance to the Warrant Officers & Sergeants Mess. It is the responsibility of each Mess Member to inform the Mess accountant for billing purposes and book in and out of the Mess when going away on duty, courses, exercise, and leave. Members only book out if you are out of the Station for more than 15 days. The book is to be completed before departure.

Mess Bar

The bar is located in the main mess and is open Monday to Sunday, timings are below:

  • Mon - Fri: 1900 - 2300
  • Saturday: 1900 - 2300
  • Sunday: 1900 - 2300

Meal Timings

Meal sittings are located in the main mess. All meals are Pay As You Dine, and only card payments are currently accepted. Individuals are required to book in for an evening meal before 1400 hrs; otherwise, you will only be able to order from the retail menu. 

Meal timings are listed below and are subject to change:  

Monday - Friday

  • Breakfast:  0700 - 0830 
  • Lunch:  1215 - 1330
  • Dinner:  1730 - 1830 

Saturday/Sunday/Bank Holidays

  • Breakfast:  0900 - 1000
  • Brunch:  1000 - 1230
  • Dinner:  1730 - 1830
